INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY
Every financial plan must incorporate a solid investment
strategy in order for assets to keep pace with inflation
and provide growth for future needs. Financial success
requires disciplined investment in a portfolio that is
structured to provide competitive long-term returns at
reasonable, and tolerable, levels of risk.
Investments are analyzed within the context of how they
fit into your portfolio and help to meet your financial
goals. All investment planning work starts with the
development of an Investment Policy Statement that will
define the parameters to which we will adhere when making
investment decisions.
We believe that the most important
investment decision is the allocation of funds among
cash, bonds and stocks. We further believe that individual
investors can achieve the best level of diversification
by holding mutual funds, rather than stocks and bonds
of individual companies. In addition to customizing
portfolios to meet your unique needs, we also strive
to keep investment costs low; these costs include
transaction fees, account fees, mutual fund loads
and expense ratios, and taxes. It is not uncommon
for investors to be unaware of these costs, and we
do our best to make sure that you are not sacrificing
your long-term investment success by paying unreasonable fees.
Please contact Heather Hutchinson or Eric Ziegler at (415) 259-3933
to discuss whether we might be able to assist you with your
financial planning and investment management needs. We'll briefly
discuss your situation and, if appropriate, schedule an initial
consultation in our offices.
